Roxanne's Testimonial
It feels extremely overwhelming to finally walk through doors knowing that these doors are yours and the end to a life long struggle with Real Estates have finally come to an end. You have given my family a positive out look on our lives, for us now not to be pondering on our futures, but to actually strive to achieve our goals and to commit on a positive outcome.
Belinda and Marc you have touched the hearts of so many people in helping them create the great Australian dream of one day owning their own home. I fully congratulate you both on your hard work and dedication to strive to help others and that you continue to do so and get the well deserved recognition you both deserve. I thank you both Belinda and Marc so much for making this a reality for my family, and I cannot thank you enough for all of your time and effort you have invested in my family’s future.

Mel and Rods testimonial
My partner and I have been together for 10years, and we have finally been able to achieve the great aussie dream due to the help of Belinda and Marc from We Buy Sell Rent. For ten years, we rented house-after-house with our kids, struggling to get bond money each time the landlords sold the houses from under our feet.
The last straw was when our second last rental home went on the property market for sale, again. We both decided that this was going to be the last time that we would pay dead rent money. We tried to get a bank loan, but we were knocked back due to having not enough deposit.
So we moved out of town (as it was too hard to get a rental in town), so we could try to save for the deposit, but this was going to be a long process, as we had three kids to look after. Plus, being out of town, we had huge petrol bills to get the eldest to school, plus Mel wasn’t able to work as it was too challenging to work in town while trying to juggle the kids back at home out of town. We were at the stage of giving up. Then we got given Belinda’s contact number by a friend, and the rest is history! You made our dream come true.
Now we have got our lives back to ourselves. We are stoked. We can enjoy life now, as we can do what we want to do, when we want to do it, rather than being stuck out of town. The kids are enjoying themselves, and Connor can go to school easy. There is no more driving in the rain during our travels from out of town. You have been so lovely to deal with. You are very easy to communicate with, unlike the banks. We had direct contact with you, so we weren’t just a number, we had personalised friendly service. The best part of the whole process was getting the keys to our new house. Also, the response was so quick! When we applied with Belinda, we went away camping for a few days, and returned to a couple of voice messages with the good news about our successful qualification. We felt really important when we heard the messages upon our return, and jumped up and down, overwhelmed by the news. Then, before we new it, we were collecting the key to our new home, knowing that no one could sell this home from under us.
I know this sounds a little silly, but I can park my car on the grass, and not have a property manger to tell me to park it on the road! Also, there is no property manager to tell me I can’t have a dog! We really enjoy not having to answer to real estate agents. It is a relief to know we will never have to complete a rental application again. Now that we are in town, Mel can go back to work, improving our financial position. When we combine this with the huge amount we are saving on fuel, and the capital growth that we make, we are way in front, benefiting the kids. We now have a strong financial future ahead of us, and inheritance for the kids. I recommend you guys to everyone!! All the time. I recommended my sister-in-law straight away, who is in the process of getting a home with you. She is just as excited as us. It doesn’t hurt to pick up the phone and make the call to see if you can qualify. It took me a week to call, as I was scared of being knocked back again. But I wish I called straight away, as I could of got into my home one week earlier! Thank you for giving us the chance to own our own home. You have made us one of the happiest families ever!
Mel and Rod.
Donna and Shannon's Testimonial
Belinda and Marc these are 2 names which ring joy throughout our household.
My partner had a credit rating which was not so good therefore we had resigned ourselves to thinking that we would not be able to buy a house until I had finished University and began my career as a teacher.
One day a bright orange flyer arrived in our mail box I rang Shannon and mentioned it to him when he came home and we talked about the prospect of buying a house we were not very optimistic. I ended up convincing him that if we just made the phone call the worst we could hear was the word ‘NO’ which we were used to anyway so we wouldn’t be any worse off then we were already. . . and so begins history. Belinda and I finally got in contact with one another (after many missed phone calls on both sides) I told her our situation and she immediately emailed us all of the documentation we needed to start our journey.
Belinda found a house for us then it fell through. After a few weeks of not hearing anything Shannon and I decided to try for another baby, we wern’t buying a house so we could afford this to happen. Finally we fell pregnant and 2 weeks later we got that wonderful phone call. Belinda called and told us she had the perfect house even after I told her that we were having another baby she said that would not change anything (I thought it may have finances wise as now we would have 3 dependants instead of 2).
We organised a time to see the house and finally meet those wonderful people who were going to fulfil our dreams. We met at the new house where Belinda gave us the grand tour and seemed as excited about all of this happening as we were.
The house was perfect and even room for our upcoming new addition. Belinda referred us to a solicitor which clients had worked with in the past and we were on our way. I thought buying a house would be stressful, hidden fees, and had heard about complications with paperwork, but with us it was a breeze.
We saw the solicitor one week and she went through the contract with us letting us know all of the negatives that could happen and a week later we went back to sign them. Upfront Belinda let us know about the application fee, the deposit (which was so little compared to the 10% banks were asking) and she even let us know a ball park figure for the solicitor’s fees.
One month later after the cooling off period we started to move in.This was the most easy and stress free thing I have ever done with no surprises.Meeting Belinda and Marc again a few months after we moved in was fantastic we really felt like these guys cared about us, our new home, new life (new baby by now as well, Belinda even took our first family photo with the 5 of us).
I would like to say thank you so much Belinda and Marc you come highly recommended in our books and we let everyone know what wonderful people you are because you literally made our dreams come true.

Kelly's Testimonial
Hi, my name is Kelly; I have 4 children and rented, but the house I was in kept going on the market.
As getting another rental was hard to come by, I decide to see if the banks would help me but they could not due to I already had a house but sold due to family break down and not enough deposit for another one. So when a We Buy Sell Rent flyer came in the mailbox I contacted them to see if they just rent. Belinda explained what they do and that was they rent, you try it, then you buy it, as well as doing any home improvements I like.
It took a couple of weeks and NOW my kids and I are in our own home, they are happier than they have been in a long time and so am I. I want to thank Belinda and Marc for being there for the little people like me and many others.
Its a great house nice backyard great front yard

You guys really helped us get into our first home, we were even able to find a home that we really liked then We Buy Sell Rent organised every thing, shortly after that we were in our own home, we also got to make use of the first home owners grant as well. We are so happy to have our own home now and we even have the pool that we always wanted. You guys made every thing so easy, we now have a home to start our new family thanks to you.

My Story
This is a story about a family who found themselves in financial difficulties, and didn’t know how to get themselves out of the mess they found themselves in. These circumstances came about through unawareness, not keeping track of things, unemployment for a long period of time of one parent.
They were too frightened to answer phone or door because if was creditors wanting there money.
Then one day the mother of this family was a work and a brochure came across her desk about Buy Sell Rent, she took it home and thought about it for a few days had discussions with her husband. After, realising that they had to do something or end up with nothing or jail for not being able to pay our bills.
So, she made the phone call and on the other end was a soft spoken, young man and within minutes she had told him what circumstances her family had found themselves in. His name was Marc he told her that there was a solution, and how to go about it.
Marc was the kindest, most understanding and he told her that she was not the only one who found themselves in this position. They chatted for a while he made her feel like there was light at the end of the tunnel and there was processes that had to be gone through for her and her family to be happy again.
Marc kept in constant contact with her, all processes where being followed and they had many funny moments during this time. It was the first time in many, many months that she had laughed because she was happy.
Marcs’ partner Belinda was also very helpful, understanding especially about the girl questions.
Finally, the day came when the family could move into the new house both parents found new jobs, kids are happy. Marc and Belinda came for a visit to have a look at the family’s new house; nothing was too much trouble for them. It was such a relief for them to be in the new house no pressure and there was a solution to there financial problems.
The scary thing is this family was mine, and I am sure there are many families who find themselves in this situation. I would not hesitate to recommend We Buy Sell Rent to any one. Marc and Belinda do not leave you once you have purchased your new home they are there when ever you need them just to ask a question or for moral support. They also walk you through all the processes that are required and there is a future for my family, financially, all being happy and together.
My family and I do not know where we would be today if I hadn’t made that phone call all those months ago.
Marc and Belinda are a young couple who have realised there is a need for people in the world who need support, in a caring, empowering, professional way, and I have not doubt there families are very proud of what they have accomplished, and continue to accomplish.
I wish Marc and Belinda all the best, I hope you realise that I am now part of your lives in a professional way as I am not making a financial move until I speak to you guys first as I do not want to find myself in the position I was 6 months ago.
My family and I would like to thank you once again, I am having a little tear while writing this.

Kylie's Testimonial
Prior to owning our own home, we...
Have been on the rental round about trying to find a place to get off and buy our own home.
Our major barrier to home ownership was...
Our credit history and lack of savings. It was hard trying to pay the usual bills and rent and put enough money away for a house deposit with two children and another on the way.
During the home ownership process with Belinda and Marc, we...
Had constant communication from Belinda and Marc, so we always knew what was to be done next and received constant support through the many phone calls and emails. The process was fairly easy from our end all we needed to do was find the house we liked and the rest of the work was done by Belinda and Marc. Even after the whole process we still recieve constant communication and support from Belinda and Marc.
As a result, we...
Are now paying off our own house instead of a landlords house. We can now call our house our home. We are able to whatever work we want to our home and best of all hang all our pictures where we want them to be. With a third baby due in about 10 weeks we are busy getting our home unpacked and our baby's room done up just the way we want.
Jody's Testimonial - Chapter 1
After leaving home, with no rental history and no banks willing to give me a loan, I had no other option but to rent through Department of Housing. I was in the first one for 7 years – it was horrible… no air conditioning in a terrible area. I was broken into three times, and I had three different cars over that time that got stolen or broken into five times.
The Department of Housing then relocated me and I had no say in where I was being placed. I lasted there for 2 years until I had enough… I have always dreamed of owning my own home, and it was time I turned that reality into a dream. I tried to get a loan with the banks a couple of times with no luck. Then I saw a sign on Whylanrda Street… ‘Rent To Buy’.
I realised I had nothing to lose so I saved Belinda and Marc’s number into my phone and rang them when I got home. AND three months later I moved into my own home!!! It happened so quick…. I couldn’t believe it. They simply suggested I go round to have a look at a home… and if I liked it, I could have it. I thought that there’s gotta be a catch!! BUT there was no catch. I liked it, so I got it! It was so surreal to collect MY key to MY OWN HOME.
It was so amazing to be driving into my own street for the first time with my key. I was crying!! My house wasn’t a castle, but it certainly looked like a castle to me. As a single Mum, I felt relieved that I had something for my kids. Six months before I called ‘We Buy Sell Rent’ I wrote a Will and I told the advisor that my lifelong dream was to own a home so if anything happens they still have a stable roof over their head.
I wanted an asset for them, and I had finally achieved the great aussie dream, my dream, I now own my own home. I ripped up the carpet the first day I moved in to reveal the nice floorboards. I brought a new lounge, TV and cushions. Everything in my home is what I bought with my own money. My next project is to paint the walls, with burgundy being my feature walls to complement my lounge and the floorboards.
RESULT:
Now I am paying off an asset, no more dead rent to the department of housing. There is not much different between rent and owning. All I was doing was wasting that money anyway, now it’s not wasted. I think of every payment like it is going into a savings account. It is… it is going towards an asset. Every penny is going into my home which is an asset growing in value.
I now have piece of mind when I go to bed. Anything I do to home is for us and the kids. Plus, it is heaps more fun to clean it when it’s your own!! No more inspections, and no more permission needed to do things to my home. In 10 years time I’ll have the house nearly half paid off using the free advice from Belinda.
I AM THE BEST MUM IN TOWN:
I have set such a good example for my kids. My 7 year old son, Rarty, said to me: “I’ve gotta look after the house. Mummy, you work so hard, you got a home for us. I am going to work and bank my money to help”. My 4 year old daughter, Lydia also respects things more. I am the proudest single mum!
THANKS BELINDA AND MARC:
Belinda and Marc have been fantastic. They ring me all the time and I when I ring them I get them personally, not an answering machine or an admin person. They took on all the stressful tasks, and all I had to do was the fun stuff!! They are lovely, easy to contact, easy to talk. At the beginning, I thought they were going to be business-like people, but they are down to earth, easy to understand, and funny. They totally related to me.
Jody's Testimonial - Chapter 2 and Now Home Number 2
Well I guess well just pick it up from where we left off.
After seeing a sign in the street one day that lead to life changing stability. My dream of providing a stable future for my family has come true. And we are now at a new chapter, just as I thought it couldn’t get any better I asked Belinda’s advice in entering the rental realm again only this time as a LANDLORD. Sounds crazy I know but my whole journey with Marc and Belinda has been crazy so I though Why not?
Low and behold, Belinda in her laid back manor said “sure you can mate, why not”. So guess what We DID.
Then after living in a flat for a while and doing some renovation on our own home (while we had tenants in there) things became a little crammed and it felt like everyone in the block of flats we were staying at knew when we went to the toilet.
So with a lease that wasn’t going to run out for another six months I once again turned to Belinda and just wanted to chat and ask some advice. During this conversation I said to Belinda “You know what would have been perfect for my little family is living out of town somewhere in the wide open spaces but we would never be able to afford that”.
Once again the reply from Belinda was “Why not” I started to think maybe Belinda is not understanding the situation and I had to express this to her. Belinda asked for a good time to call Lawrence and myself and work out our budget… 2 nights later we did just that. 2 days later Belinda calls me and says “There’s a house in Brocklehurst mate, go and have a look and tell me what you think”.
I drove straight out - it’s a 5 minute drive from Dubbo and is the most peaceful serene place I have ever been too.
I saw the house in an open home inspection. That’s when I though to myself ‘WOW Belinda really is delusional’. This place has a pool ,4 bedrooms,2 lounge rooms, huge kitchen, 3 sheds and a granny flat (that has its own kitchen, lounge, bedroom and bathroom).
It has a front and back large pergola areas and is just something I thought “this place is way out of my league”. I told Lawrence it was “OK” because I thought what’s the point of getting anyone’s hopes up.
We called Belinda and she asked me what I thought and I said Its what you would definitely call a dream home. Then Belinda said something to me that made me drop the phone. She said “Well mate it’s yours if you want it”. After making sure that we were on the same page and I was understanding her properly, I got of the phone and had a cry.
Two weeks later I’m living in this dream home and still pinching myself. Although something has changed Marc and Belinda have made Lawrence and myself believe that anything’s possible –WHY NOT?
We even started dreaming of bigger ventures such as a family run business but that’s going to be years down the track or maybe even sooner if Belinda has anything to say about it you never know- WATCH THIS SPACE…………………
Rebecca and Dave's Testimonial
At first the thought of owning a home was unbelievable, after renting for the past 14 years you find yourself in the rental trap.Having to deal with real estates invading your privacy with inspections all the time, not being able to do what u want like paint a room update the house etc.
Last year we decided to look into rent to buy homes, as the house we were renting was getting sold 6 months into a contract of 12 month contract. The owners told us we could live there for 4 years.
It caused us alot of stress because the cost of moving every 6 months and the change in the kids schools would be hard for them to make good friends. We then thought maybe we look further into the rent to buy homes as we did not qualify for a bank loan and had some bad credit on our names.
We searched the internet and there were so many different websites and so much negative information we thought maybe its too good to be true.We then found a site webuysellrent and talked to Belinda she is so down to earth really understood everything we were going through.
Belinda made it sound so easy and we thought what have we got to lose the price of rent was just going up higher then a mortgage and we really wanted the dream of owning our own home.
Belinda told us to start having a look for houses we had a look at 3 different ones. Then we found one we really loved.
We called belinda and within a week she was making an offer on the home. We were so excited and nervous as we really wanted the home.
A week later belinda told us that we didnt get the house our hearts broken. Belinda said that we keep looking at other houses, but we didnt we just wanted that house.
Two months past and then out of the blue we got a phone call from Belinda, she asked us if we were still interested in the home we had our heart set on as the settlement did not go through.
Belinda and Mark also came to our house and met us all, which we thought made it seem more real and they are so friendly.Within a week they made offer and we got an answer.I couldnt believe it when Belinda called us and told us we got the house. We were estatic over the moon.
Life from there only got better. Our date for moving was set. We had to arrange pest and building, talked to a solicitor. To hand in a letter to the real estate it was too easy. The thought that we were moving felt really good. The date was set.
We started packing and before we new it ,we were moving in.We went to the real estate to pick up our new home keys.We were so excited the kids kept asking us all week when are you picking the keys and what time. We arrived at the house at 4pm.
Dave me and the 5 kids and two dogs. I then opened the house with the key and thought "wow" this is ours all of it. The kids ran straight to the pool and then to choose there rooms it was the most incredible feeling we are so happy. Our 7 month old staffy even made himself at home. At our last house he always ran out the front nowdays he just lays around and we can leave the gate open and he wont escape.
The kids have made a lot of new friends, love there new school they have really settled in well.I love the shopping centre which is 250m down the road and now takes me8 min to get to work, used to take me 30min.The kids are starting to build a vegetable garden out the back.Dave loves the room in the yard as he has plenty of room for his truck and trailer. The neighbours are really nice too.
The feeling of owning is alot different then renting.I always thought all our rental homes felt like home, but was always missing something, but its definately not the same.We feel so much happier to have this home.We have so many plans and goals now.
We cant thank Belinda and Mark enough for what they have done for us.They have done so much for us and helped us get the Australian dream of owning a home. The feeling of handing the realestate keys back for the last time was a great achievement. The ride has been like a rollercoaster and have enjoyed the ending.

Dear Belinda and Marc. My Partner and I were stuck knee deep in the rent cycle, always worried about what was going to happen next. Are we going to get kicked out? Are we going to get an inspection? Is the house going to be sold? Always doing things to improve the property, with no satisfaction due to the fact that we weren’t going to benefit from the improvements in the long run. I estimate we would have spent $52,000 on rent in the last 6 years! That’s 1/3 of a home paid off and we don’t even get to keep it!
Our biggest problem with getting out of the cycle was traditional lenders would not lend us money, due to the fact that I am only an average income earner and my partner is on parenting benefits, we have three kids, and were lacking a deposit. The banks just kept saying NO! NO! NO! *FRUSTRATING to the MAX*…
That’s until we seen a few “WE BUY SELL RENT” signs getting around in our area. Out of options, we agreed to give the number a call on the sign to see what it was all about. 5 minutes worth of phone call and we heard, “Congratulations! Looks like we can help!” *Relief!*
Belinda and Marc got on the job strait away, within a week they had found us a home to call *Our Own!*, organized the finance, helped us out with our deposit problems organized all the legal rigmarole and kept us up to date making sure we felt like we were involved in the whole process. *WHY CANT BANKS MAKE IT THIS EASY???*.
Soon enough and sure enough, we were handed the keys to *OUR OWNHOME!* a place we can call *OURS* a place we can do up and reap the*BENEFITS* a place were all our hard earned money stays *OURS*.And, being first home owners with questions doing everything for the first time, Belinda and Marc are always there, even now we own the house, they are only a phone call away to help us out!
If it wasn’t for Belinda and Marc we would still be stuck up S**T CREEK without a paddle!
Thanks for everything, Belinda and Marc, Legendary!
Chris and Kim's Testimonial
I recently contacted Marc and Belinda to help sell our house in order to buy new property. They spent the time to understand our situation and gave us some great advice (at no charge at all), that really helped us secure our new property for a price lower than we expected. For our existing house, they made sure we understood their offer, and it was realistic and not a "rip off" or a "con job" at all.
We're still in touch, and we might still sell our property to them. I would have no hesitation in recommending Marc and Belinda to others who are looking at selling property, or just after some creative and helpful "out of the box" thinking about their current situation.

Jamie and Colleen's Testimonial
1. How special did you FEEL the day you got the keys to your very own home?
It is a great feeling to know you own your own house, not someone else’s. It was overwhelming as I thought I’d never accomplish it, but I have achieved the great aussie dream for the family! I was excited as I had soooo many plans on how to turn a house into a home!
2. What did you HATE about renting?
I always hated the insecurity… You’d get into a comfort zone and get stabilised and then the landlord knocks on the door and tells you the owners want their house back. House inspections are a pain as you need to take time off work to meet their requirements (as it’s always in the morning that they want to do the inspections)!
3. What do you like BEST about owning your own home?
I can do improvements to my own home and add more value to it. I now have security for the family - I know I’m not going to get kicked out. I love doing my lawns!
4. What would you SAY to someone who may be scared about calling us?
You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. You have no more to lose than what you haven’t got. Have a shot at it – there is no harm in trying. Ring them!
5. Tell us about some of the CUTE things your kids have said/done/achieved as a result of moving into your own home? Your kids can help you answer this!
They are very happy that they have their own room to do what they want to it. The boys have learnt how to swim now that I have put a pool in myself. My eldest son has just brought his first car (based on the education and great example I have set), and he can leave it at home without the landlord being annoyed that we have three cars on the front lawn. The kids ask me about how I have bought a home and how to save so they can do the same thing. They see and hear us talking about saving money and what commitments are, which is leading a great example for the kids– so my eldest boy has learnt that if he saves he will be rewarded (eg he bought a car). I’ve extended the house to allow my boys to chase their dreams as a drummer. Now he has the chase and the room to be a musician.
6. What have you DONE and/or ACHIEVED since owning your own home, that you wouldn’t have done if you were still renting?
Put a pool in the backyard for the kids to learn how to swim, put the “man shed’ down the back, got engaged, put a BBQ in hence making ourselves more sociable, teaching your kids about money commitments, and now we are talking about buying an investment house.
7. If you had to SUM-UP your home ownership joy in one sentence, what would it be?
I’ve always dreamed of buying a house, and now I have accomplished that - it is the best feeling knowing you are paying off your own house and not someone else’s.

R and C Testimonial
1. How special did you FEEL the day you got the keys to your very own home?
I was overwhelmed by the joy it brought to my children’s faces to finally have their own home.
2. What did you HATE about renting?
I hated that when the owner felt the need to sell I had to pack up and relocate and not seeing where my money had been spent. At least now I am paying for a house that I get to keep once I have finished paying for it.
3. What do you like BEST about owning your own home?
Freedom to do as I please, with no one watching over me and my children. The fact that we never have to move again.
4. What would you SAY to someone who may be scared about calling us?
Call and you will be surprised in the great response from the people on the other end of the phone, helping you to create an exciting opportunity for you and your family.
5. Tell us about some of the CUTE things your kids have said/done/achieved as a result of moving into your own home? Your kids can help you answer this!
My children have excelled in school, now not having to drive that extra 30 minutes to get to school and back. It is easier for training and socializing more with their friends.
6. What have you DONE and/or ACHIEVED since owning your own home, that you wouldn’t have done if you were still renting?
Expand on a room that was not getting used creating more space for my family.
7. If you had to SUM-UP your home ownership joy in one sentence, what would it be?
I am glad I called Belinda and Marc when I did, now I have security for my family for the future.

1. How special did you FEEL the day you got the keys to your very own home?
I couldn’t believe it, it has been 5 months and some days I still can’t believe it. You know when everything good happens to everyone else, and never you? Well, it can happen to your every day and I’m proof of that.
2. What did you HATE about renting?
Inspections and if you wanted to hang a picture you had to ring and get permission first and looking around your rented property knowing darn well you can’t change the horrible paint on the wall.
3. What do you like BEST about owning your own home?
OMG, where do I start, you can paint the walls, hang as many pictures as you darn want to, tell your neighbours to shut up without getting in trouble (lol), looking around your own home with endless possibilities of changing things. Just doing whatever I feel like doing.
4. What would you SAY to someone who may be scared about calling us?
F#@%, go for it. You always see those tv ads with people trying to sell you the product and telling their story, your thinking they’re getting paid to do that, it wouldn’t happen to me, well, I’m not getting paid to say any of this , and it did happen to me.
5. Tell us about some of the CUTE things your kids have said/done/achieved as a result of moving into your own home? Your kids can help you answer this!
My 2 girls were excited to choose their own paint colours for their room (as much as I may disagree...lol) where to hand their pictures, they probably hate keeping their rooms clean all the time before they had to for inspections, but now, they have to as it’s our own and respect it.
6. What have you DONE and/or ACHIEVED since owning your own home, that you wouldn’t have done if you were still renting?
Painted nearly all the rooms, decorated the house to my taste, not someone else’s. Done a deck out the front with a nice garden, moved cupboards to suit my family’s needs, and we haven’t stopped yet.
7. If you had to SUM-UP your home ownership joy in one sentence, what would it be?
Just Do It! I’ve never had so much fun. Me and my brother bought this house so we could leave something to our kids when we go, and we could never have done it without Marc and Belinda. They are awesome.
Thanks Guys.

1. How special did you FEEL the day you got the keys to your very own home?
I felt over the moon and proud of what we’ve achieved. I can’t wait until we get half way through the payments of the home. We are so excited and trying to budget to do improvements. We always thought that home ownership was a fairy-tale… and we have now achieved the dream. We gave the unknowing a go… we stepped into the unknown, and we were rewarded. I feel like it’s been “Rag to Riches”! We have stepped up in the community and in with the ‘in’ crowd now.
2. What did you HATE about renting?
How the landlords turned up unannounced and how they took ages to do maintenance. I hated the noisy neighbours, and how I had no stability for the family … a no-win battle paying dead rent. It felt like my money was going down the drain and sick of paying money for rent and having nothing to show for it.
3. What do you like BEST about owning your own home?
We can do things at our own pace and not rush to deadlines. I am able to do permanent improvements that we don’t have to pick up and take with us (eg. we are doing outdoor area in the backyard without needing the landlords permission).
4. What would you SAY to someone who may be scared about calling us?
Don’t be afraid, take a chance. If you wait too long, the chance will be gone.
5. Tell us about some of the CUTE things your kids have said/done/achieved as a result of moving into your own home? Your kids can help you answer this!
They are happier in the backyard, and they have neighbours over to play. They are more settled in this home as it is their own; they have more room and no sticky-beak neighbours.
6. What have you DONE and/or ACHIEVED since owning your own home, that you wouldn’t have done if you were still renting?
Self-esteem has increased massively, I feel heaps for confident. I have started a community service course so I can help other mothers that have been through what I have been through in childhood and empower them to improve their lives. And be able to help other people to rent to buy their own home just like us.
7. If you had to SUM-UP your home ownership joy in one sentence, what would it be?
Triumph over perceived hard obstacles! Every day we feel that we have been blessed.

1. How special did you FEEL the day you got the keys to your very own home?
We felt relief that we could pay for our own house instead of someone else’s house.
2. What did you HATE about renting?
Landlords, you would just settle into a house to be told to get out. Paying someone else’s mortgage.
3. What do you like BEST about owning your own home?
Peace of mind that the house is ours and it is like a project we can fix our way to an extent.
4. What would you SAY to someone who may be scared about calling us?
Don’t be. It is the best thing in the world owning your own home.
5. Tell us about some of the CUTE things your kids have said/done/achieved as a result of moving into your own home? Your kids can help you answer this!
My little girl has her own room.
6. What have you DONE and/or ACHIEVED since owning your own home, that you wouldn’t have done if you were still renting?
Made it a home instead of just a house.
7. If you had to SUM-UP your home ownership joy in one sentence, what would it be?
Awesome and the best decision we have ever made.

Bryony and Jed Powyer's Testimonial
1. How special did you FEEL the day you got the keys to your very own home?
Absolutely elated. Wished we had done it 15 years earlier.
2. What did you HATE about renting?
Restrictions on what you could do to the house. You weren’t getting ahead in life. Dead rent. You had to wait for things to get fixed.
3. What do you like BEST about owning your own home?
I can do whatever I like to it whenever I like, “It’s ours”.
4. What would you SAY to someone who may be scared about calling us?
Take the step you will never look back. Marc and Belinda are more than approachable.
5. Tell us about some of the CUTE things your kids have said/done/achieved as a result of moving into your own home? Your kids can help you answer this!
The kids are able to enjoy more church activities eg klag and mob and join in roller hockey at the skate park.
6. What have you DONE and/or ACHIEVED since owning your own home, that you wouldn’t have done if you were still renting?
I am now working and studying in aged care and attending a Bible study group. We have installed a wood fire place in the house and partially taken down a wall.
7. If you had to SUM-UP your home ownership joy in one sentence, what would it be?
It was easier to “rent to buy” than to rent a property through real estate. Should have done it sooner.

1. Prior to owning my own home, I...
We were renting and paying off someone else’s house. It felt like we were paying off someone else’s mortgage and getting no where to own our own home. We couldn’t do our own repairs and our landlord was uninterested in fixing things for us.
2. My major barrier to home ownership was.....
Banks not giving us a fair go as we had a minor default on our credit, and we found it hard to save money for a deposit.
3. During the home ownership process with Belinda and Marc, I .....
We found it very simple and easy. They were always friendly and helpful. They explained things in a simple manner. We could contact them at any time with any questions or concerns, and they would always try and help us.
4. As a result, I .....
We were able to move into our first home with our new born son, Christopher. We will be able to renovate the house and hang pictures on the wall without needing permission from the real estate agent or landlord. We and our pets are much happier since we moved into our home. We can call our house our home. We felt great relief when we handed the keys into the real estate for the old house and great excitement and happiness when we got the keys for our home. We feel that we have achieved something.

Daphne and Raylene's Testimonial
1. How special did you FEEL the day you got the keys to your very own home?
Excited! Relief that we finally have somewhere to call ‘home’. It hit me a few days after when we realised we had something to call ours and something to pass onto our kids.
2. What did you HATE about renting?
It was the fact of not getting a decent answer from landlords – for example: we’d get approved over the phone, but when they met us in person they said no. It was overwhelming with how many people applied for rental homes and how many people we had to compete against each time. We had no stability for the kids, and we weren’t able decorate the house (and I hate white walls).
3. What do you like BEST about owning your own home?
The fact that I can decorate my own home to my own taste without needing approval (for example: I discovered a fireplace that I’m doing up, I’ve put a wall up to create an extra room, I’ve polishing floor boards, I bought antique furniture to do up, and I have a nice big veggie patch now)! The fact of discovering new things every month – we are still finding things since we moved in 8 months ago (eg found a lovely fireplace that had been covered up, I found lovely floor boards under the kitchen and dining room lino). Plus, what I also like best, is that me and kids now have a place to call home.
4. What would you SAY to someone who may be scared about calling us?
Don’t be!!!! I was scared too… I thought I’d get knocked back again, just like I had every other time by everyone else (banks, landlords, property managers). You never know until you try…. And I’m glad I tried one last time, coz it was a YES!!! Try them out – you’ll be surprised… you’ll get a YES too! Be ready to hear YES!
5. Tell us about some of the CUTE things your kids have said/done/achieved as a result of moving into your own home? Your kids can help you answer this!
My son’s excited about having his own bunk bed, and I painted a car on the wall of his bedroom (it looks like it is coming through the wall!). The kids have increased in their confidence so they have made more friends, and my daughter had her first sleep over in our new home!
6. What have you DONE and/or ACHIEVED since owning your own home, that you wouldn’t have done if you were still renting?
Renovating – thought I’d never had a chance to renovate my own home. I’ve been able to experiment, draw lovely paintings on the walls, put up walls, do a nice fireplace, and polish floor boards. We’ve made a mark on our home – we’ve turned a house into a home thanks to Belinda and Marc.
7. If you had to SUM-UP your home ownership joy in one sentence, what would it be?
RELIEF and how PROUD me and kids are.

Stephen and Louise's Testimonial
1. How special did you FEEL the day you got the keys to your very own home?
We were so excited. We didn’t think it would be possible to become home owners again. This is our dream to renovate our own home for it to be ours and look the way we want it to look.
2. What did you HATE about renting?
We hated renting because you never feel like it is home, having someone check up on you all the time is awful, and knowing you can be evicted at any time you can never feel safe. You can’t change things to make it your own.
3. What do you like BEST about owning your own home?
Being able to hand my pictures, feeling safe and secure. Being able to make it our own. Having a home. Somewhere I feel safe to know we are not going to wake up and receive a notice to vacate. To know you are paying for something that will one day be yours completely.
4. What would you SAY to someone who may be scared about calling us?
To make the call it will be a step towards the best thing that may happen in your life, a step forward towards achieving your dreams. The only way forward is to take a chance. You can’t move forward without taking that first step.
5. Tell us about some of the CUTE things your kids have said/done/achieved as a result of moving into your own home? Your kids can help you answer this!
We have no cute kid tales as our girls are older, but they are happy to know there might be an inheritance now.
6. What have you DONE and/or ACHIEVED since owning your own home, that you wouldn’t have done if you were still renting?
We have discovered skills we did not know we had. We have set ourselves new goals, and we are both less stressed. We are happier and looking forward to our future together in this home.
7. If you had to SUM-UP your home ownership joy in one sentence, what would it be?
We are now achieving a dream we thought was unattainable to us thanks to We Buy Sell Rent.

6. What have you DONE and/or ACHIEVED since owning your own home, that you wouldn’t have done if you were still renting?
We have started working on our garden, pruning fruit trees, and have an extra bedroom. A heap of respect goes into the home because of hanging things on walls. We have plans, but we are going slowly with it at the moment.

1. How special did you FEEL the day you got the keys to your very own home?
Matthew and I could not believe it that we brought our very first home. We were so excited words can’t explain. Soon enough and sure enough, we were handed the keys to OUR OWN HOME! A place we can call OURS; a place we can do up and reap the BENEFITS; a place where all our hard earned money stays OURS. Being first home owners with questions doing everything for the first time, Belinda and Marc are always there, even now we own the house, and they are only a phone call away to help us out!
To this very day WE still can’t BELIEVE it.
2. What did you HATE about renting?
Are we going to get kicked out? Are we going to get an inspection? Is the house going to be sold? My partner and I were stuck knee deep in the rent cycle and always worried about what was going to happen next.
3. What do you like BEST about owning your own home?
Doing what we want to do with it painting, renovations, and making it OURS.
4. What would you SAY to someone who may be scared about calling us?
Give it a go. You have nothing to lose. We did it, and we are very thankful for what Belinda and Marc did for us they are AWESOME!!!!!
5. Tell us about some of the CUTE things your kids have said/done/achieved as a result of moving into your own home? Your kids can help you answer this!
My daughter told us that she NEVER wants to move again and loves our new house.
6. What have you DONE and/or ACHIEVED since owning your own home, that you wouldn’t have done if you were still renting?
We have started painting the outside of the house, plan to build a deck and shed, and do renovations. We can’t wait to start.

Absolutely amazed and so happy we would recommend anyone who wants to buy their first home.

GS & SS Testimonial
1. How special did you FEEL the day you got the keys to your very own home?
Very excited. It was to date one of the best date in our lives. It felt as if so much pressure was lifted off our shoulders. We no longer had to worry about our house going on the market, moving, real estate, and best of all we were finally out of the rental market. No more wasted money.
2. What did you HATE about renting?
The instability – we never knew when or if our rental property would go on the market and the last minute inspections which came with this.
Wasted money – we often pain over value for rentals as they were hard to come by. We could never make your house a home. Too many restrictions and so much more.
3. What do you like BEST about owning your own home?
Everything but to name a few: It is mine (ours). We can hang photos and paint walls. No more wasted money we know that what we pay is benefiting our future and giving stability to our future children. They will always have a home. No more dealing with real estates – they care about our money.
4. What would you SAY to someone who may be scared about calling us?
Do it! They (Belinda and Marc) are a pleasure to deal with. They work with your budget and needs to find you a place which fits both. They are unlike banks that care about your bank balance.
5. Tell us about some of the CUTE things your kids have said/done/achieved as a result of moving into your own home? Your kids can help you answer this!
We do not have children, but we have two teenagers who have been with us for many years. They were excited to be able to decorate their rooms with photos and posters. They couldn’t believe it when we took them to Bunnings to pick their own paint for their rooms it was as if all their Christmas had come at once.
6. What have you DONE and/or ACHIEVED since owning your own home, that you wouldn’t have done if you were still renting?
We have a “Renovation Account” which we opened 3 months ago. We have been depositing “spare” money in even if it is only $10. We hope to use this account in 2-3 years to do a full renovation. We could never have updated anything in a rental property and wouldn’t of had the inspiration to do it.
7. If you had to SUM-UP your home ownership joy in one sentence, what would it be?
“The best decision we have ever made!!!”

Donna and Shannon's Testimonial
1. How special did you FEEL the day you got the keys to your very own home?
It was an indescribable feeling happy, excited, and contentment. I finally felt safe that the home that we raise our children in was actually our home. It felt amazing that we were bringing a new baby into a home which we were able to set up as our own. We were finally able to have a baby room/nursery. It was a very exciting time in our lives one which we had hoped for but believed it would be a number of years before it could happen.
2. What did you HATE about renting?
When we were stuck in the rent cycle, we hated that we were not able to hang any pictures of our family on the walls. We were never able to do anything in the house i.e. make improvements or changes. We were never completely comfortable in a house as we never knew how long we would be staying there. We seemed to have a knack for being able to sell any house we were renting whether it happened to be on the market or not.
3. What do you like BEST about owning your own home?
In our own home we were able to start a life of our own without the stress of how long we could stay in a house before we had to leave. Our children got their own bedrooms, and we were able to let them pick out paints for their walls. We have been able to make some of our own improvements to the home, set things up the way we want them, choose colours that suit us, paint, tile, and take out walls. One of the most fulfilling feelings we have though is the fact that we are able to hang up photos of our family, our wedding pictures, and Donna's graduation memorabilia.
4. What would you SAY to someone who may be scared about calling us?
Well, I have had plenty of experience here. Whenever anyone asks me about the 'program', I tell them all the same thing. It is the most amazing and stress free thing we have ever done. I am always asked if there is a catch and people seem quite shocked when I tell them there isn't one. It couldn't get much simpler than it is. Belinda and Marc are the most bubbly, amazing, helpful, and inspiring people you could ever meet. If there is a problem or a question a phone call is all it takes to get things sorted out or if you just need to touch base with someone to talk some things out. At first we felt the same way as most people do about something that sounds too good to be true like the rent to buy program; however, we pushed those worries and fears aside long enough to make a call. We went into the call with the attitude "the worst they can do is say NO, and we have heard it a thousand times before so what is one more time" only to be pleasantly surprised. The phone call was the best thing we ever did; the best decision we ever made.
5. Tell us about some of the CUTE things your kids have said/done/achieved as a result of moving into your own home? Your kids can help you answer this!
- Felicity: I asked Mum and Dad if I could paint my room in pink and purple stripes. I got fabulous results on my NAPLAN this year. I accidently decorated the ceiling in my room with glow in the dark stickers.
- Charlotte has been able to contribute to the artwork displayed in our home by creating her own mural. A white wall in her bedroom is coloured in with permanent marker, lead pencils, textas and anything else she could find to draw with. Surprisingly, this mural seems to have expanded each time we walk into the room, little Picasso.
- Dean-Aaron: What can we say everything our little man has done said and achieved in his short life has been in this house which is amazing. He has moved from a cot into a 'big boy' bed, from bottles to solid food, sitting to crawling and then to walking each day is special and full of achievements and surprises.
6. What have you DONE and/or ACHIEVED since owning your own home, that you wouldn’t have done if you were still renting?
We have been able to hang up a few photos, change and renovate different rooms to own needs and wants, and paint the kids rooms to suit them (their choices and personalities). We bought a brand new AWESOME big oven and stove which I can't wait to have installed, think of all the baking I can do. We have retiled our bathroom which was amazing because we had so much fun picking out colour schemes and feature tiles for our walls. I got to create my own garden and put in it all the kinds of plants that I like the most including our wedding flowers. We were able to celebrate our wedding and invite people over to share our home and the whole 'wedding' experience with us. My girlfriends and I were able to get together, have our hair and make-up done, and sit around our dining room table in our own home and discuss the day and our excitement. We brought our baby boy into our own home when we were able to leave hospital. It was the most serene feeling in the world knowing that he would grow up here, and it would be his home for a lifetime
7. If you had to SUM-UP your home ownership joy in one sentence, what would it be?
It would be impossible to sum it up in one sentence. In the 3 years we have known Belinda and Marc and have owned our own home, so many amazing and exciting things have happened to us. The joy of owning our own home does not stop at the things like holding the keys in your hands for the first time or painting the walls and redecorating. Owning our home gives us a sense of security and makes little things more precious and sentimental. Examples of this include bringing our new baby home, his first word was said in the house, and his first steps. Our middle child started Kindergarten whilst living here, and we have photos of her in her school clothes. Our oldest daughter had her first friend sleep over. We spend time playing Wii in our lounge room. We have movie nights and sleepover out in the lounge rooms.
The home ownership joy is continuous; it makes milestones amazing and moments special memories.

I'm writting to say thank you for everything belinda and marc have done for us without them i dont we ever be in position that we would be able to buy our first home.
Being a young family i never ever thought that we could save for a house let only the banks even looking at us without a decent desposit, i thought i be stuck renting for the rest of our lives paying dead money making some else rich.
But finally i had enough of my landlord they were driving me crazy, try to get them to fix something was like trying to get blood out of a stone, than i found belinda and marc wedsite, thinking there had to be catch but believe or not there wasnt making the equiry, was the best desision i made.
Because now im living in my own house, what even better it me and my family home its somewhere me and my kids can make memories not worring that we will have to move or suddenly it will be sold and pack up and start all over again.
Belinda and marc were excellent though the whole process they basically done everything not having to worry bout the big stuff was great it made the process fun and nothing to stress about.
I got to do all the fun stuff like picking my house and wondering what i was going to do and how i was going to decorate, and that what i want to remember when i think back bout when i brought my first home.
Now i cant wait to celbrate our first christmas in our home this is going to be the most special one of all, and its all thanks to belinda and marc im forever grateful for what the have done for us because they gave us something i never thought i could have a HOME a place i can call my own.
